Communication
- Organise a chat with parent group before season commences and again in January, share with the parents the expectations for the coming season
- No contact with players via phone, social media
- Be conscious of any medical issues with any of your players
Preparation
- Wear Saints Coaches kits for every training session & match
- Arrive on time for all sessions and fully prepared
- Take responsibility for club kit, balls, equipment . Return balls/bibs at the end of each season.
- Ensure your FAI Garda Vetting & Child Welfare Requirements are always up to date
- Always set up Supporter zones using ropes for all matches (when playing away from home, guide parents to the appropriate zone)
- Ensure you have DDSL match cards ready for referees
- If all coaches are not available for a training session, please contact DOF (Colin Hawkins) in order to source a stand in coach
- Player development & Transfers
- Track player progress and discuss with parents & DOF quarterly
- Players being moved to new teams –coaches must be the ones to chat with parents. If escalated DOF can assist.

General Responsibilities and tasks
- Take responsibility for club kit, balls, equipment . Return balls/bibs end of season.
- Hand back full match kits when finished with for other teams to use
- Attend Club or FAI workshops to help develop your Coach Education further
- Remember learnings from Safeguarding course
- Leave any troubles at the gate ,be positive and inspiring every session
- Your responsibility to submit Refs fees on time twice a year to Treasurer Stephen Jones
- Respect your training venues and slot times, don’t go over the time allowed
- Respect the pitches , warm ups on side etc. Stay out of goalmouths.
