Glenville looked odds on to make it two wins from their first two top flight games when they converted a penalty and the Saints were reduced to 10 men when Tadhg Murphy was dismissed with just 10 minutes remaining.
However, Croft popped up with a well taken injury time leveller to ensure the Saints, tipped by some to challenge this season, made it two points from two games.
David Somers opened the scoring for the away side tapping home after O’Connor beat the off side trap and teed him up with a square pass. Gavin Smith did exceptionally well in the build up to the goal.
A low Stephen Klinch goal restored parity within minutes and the game remained level until the 80 minute.
Visiting goal keeper Murphy dragged down a Glenville player in the area forcing the referee to point to the spot and take out his red card.
Up stepped Bobby Cullen to register his third goal in two games firing into the top corner to put the hosts in the driving seat.
Wayne Kelly’s men looked destined for second successive home win but Croft levelled proceedings in the last minute lifting the ball over the advancing keeper to secure his side a point.
