Shane Nulty

As the Chairman of the club, I would like to thank all the supporters, committee, management, coaches and players of all our teams. The effort and commitment of the first, second and all our junior teams have been unbelievable.
To win the LSL Division 1 league after promotion is a testament to Brian McCarthy, Bobby Ryan the staff and a magnificent team who have created a team spirit that has won the league title. Our supporters witnessed some exhilarating football, cheered the team in big numbers and we had a very memorable season. It's an incredible achievement, and we will all look forward to supporting the team in the top flight of LSL football next season.
Our Senior Saturday team was promoted after a tremendous season, it was a nail-biting end to the season. Mark, Ray, Dave and all the players finished the job in style.
Our O Neills Academy is phenomenal, Brendan Kennedy and our academy staff have record numbers registered and that's a testament to the excellent coaching and fun children have every Saturday morning. St. Mochta's FC can very proudly say we have the best football academy in Dublin 15. I thank all the coaches who voluntarily give their time to help these young boys and girls to develop both as people and footballers.
Our junior section won trophies with our Under 11's winning the Coyne Cup,beating Shelbourne in the final. Our Under 11 C team won the Coerver Shield and Farrid's Under 10 DDSL team won the league. The Junior section will be enhanced immensely with the appointment of Colin Hawkins. Colin brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience, having achieved the highest accolades as a player in the League Of Ireland and having played in England with Coventry City and Brighton. Colin's appointment further endorses the commitment we have to develop the club and players for the future. Colin will be a fantastic addition, and with Brendan Kennedy able to focus on our Academy, next season will see our schoolboy section continue to develop under the expert guidance of Brendan, Colin and our coaches.
I would like to thank all the pitch side board sponsors, fundraising sponsors, and a special thank you to Blanchardstown 4 x 4 our club sponsor. The management and staff of The Clonsilla Inn and Westend Barbers. Without these generous people and all our sponsors we wouldn't be able to achieve half of what we have done.
More thanks to Damien Kelly and our ground staff, who maintained our pitches all season, and ensured all our players played on pitches which are the envy of every visitor to St. Mochta's FC.
Our website and social media accounts has played a huge role in reflecting the progress, news and image of our football club. It's a pleasure to see the club thriving with match reports, photos, profiles and interviews. We look forward to Dan Pitcher our new PRO further enhancing the club.
By the time we start back for pre-season, the players will have a new Astro Turf surface and a new brand new complex building which will feature, 3 changing rooms, shower facilities, club shop and a meeting room. These extensive works will take place thanks to amazing fundraising efforts and a capital sports grant. In November we held Strictly Mochtas and everyone can be very proud of a remarkable night. Our thanks to Jackie Brady and Stephen Jones for all their hard work and dedication.
Our challenge now is to ensure we are in the best possible position for the start of next season - a season in which we shall look for a new level of commitment and performance from all. We can't stand still, we won't stand still. Our aim is to continue to maintain the very high standards and ensure St. Mochta's FC remains the best football club in Dublin 15.
Thank you for your support this season. I wish you and your families a healthy and happy summer and I look forward to welcoming you back for the 2015/2016 season.
Shane Nulty, Chairman.
