Favourite Player ?
Glen Crowe. I grew up watching him knock in goals week after week for Bohs. I remember him getting his Ireland call up. Now, I'm seeing him knock them in for Mochta's.
Favourite game ?
Ireland v Wales 2009 in Cardiff ( Yes I know that's Rugby ) it was the most emotional and energy sapping game I've ever seen, Tommy Bowe's breakaway try, O'Gara's drop goal and then those agonising moments when Steven Jones was lining up his penalty to break Irish hearts, it took forever but fell short, one of the many games I've cried after.
Favourite Saints game ?
Cockhill Celtic at home this season. Couldn't help but sense a great amount of tension and anxiety on the day but it turned out to be a great day and result.
Favourite Stadium ?
Millennium Stadium, Cardiff.
Best goal you seen the Saints score ?
There has been so many, I saw Cian Cronin net a fantastic goal for the Under 16's but for the Seniors not many can beat some of the wonder goals scored by Crocket, however Crowie and his equaliser against Verona away this season was brilliant. At that point that would have been a bad loss and seen as a big dent.
Best away trip ?
There have been not many footie ones, so it's Rugby again. This year I went with mates to see Ireland v Italy in Rome in the 6 Nations, the craic was mighty !
Where would you like to see the Saints play ?
I'd love to see them play in the Aviva. It's a shame the Intermediate didn't work out but who doesn't want to play in their own national stadium.
Biggest sacrifice you made to go to a game ?
I don't want to get the sack so I'll leave this one alone.
Best atmosphere at a game ?
Ireland v Holland in the 2002 World Cup qualifiers. The place nearly fell down when McAteer scored.
What aspect of the club do you like ?
I like the feeling of a family atmosphere, it's a tight knit club and you're always looked after. Also, there's nothing nicer on a windy wintry Sunday morning and there's Vinny breaking out his 158 varieties of soup.
What improve match day for fans ?
160 Varieties of Soup ! I'm not sure to be honest, maybe a keg and tap in the shop.
Proudest moment watching the club ?
Seeing the players walking out the tunnel in Turners Cross alongside Cork City. The lads played there hearts out and got a standing ovation leaving the pitch at full time from rebel fans. Not many clubs get that.
Best player you have seen play ?
Messi. I can't remember if he played against us at the Aviva but I had access to training at Carton house and watching him was just wonderful.
A place you would like to visit ?
New Zealand. Guess why ? Haha !
Best place you have been ?
Funniest club member ?
Toss up between Johnny Lyons, Gavin Smith, Shane Crawford and Cian Cronin. All gas lads.
Biggest moaner ?
Haha ! I'm only here a wet week. I'm not getting tossed out !
Person you most admire ?
An old FM104 DJ by the name of Tony Dixon. If it's R & B it's gotta be Tony D. He died from cancer a few years back but despite his illness and genuinely at times being too weak, he would come to work and sometimes pre record his shows so he could sit at home and listen to them with his son. I didn't know Tony very long but I'd see him the odd time and it was him and his welcome that made me truly feel part of the FM104 family and we would talk sport for ages. He left me with a quote I'll always remember " Your hopes and dreams will always be hopes and dreams unless you write them down and focus on them on a daily basis, may all you hopes and dreams come through."
What's the funniest moment you've seen at a match ?
The Munster deer mascot tacking Leo the Leinster Lion at the 2006 Heineken Cup Semi final. It was half time and it set the tone for the second half where my Munster ran riot and won well.
If you could invite 5 people to dinner, who would they be ?
Steve Staunton, I always wanted to know why he decided to ruin his great name by going into management. George Hamilton is a good storyteller. Ronan O' Gara, he's my time hero. Joe Schmidt, because he's Joe. Louis Van Gaal because you always need one looper who hasn't a clue what he's on about at the dinner table so you can laugh at them.
Desert Island companion ?
