
In a very successful playing career Colin has won two league titles at St. Patrick's Athletic, and one at Bohemians and Shelbourne. Colin was part of the Ireland team that finished third place in the FIFA World Youth Championships in 1997 under the management of former International manager Brian Kerr.

Speaking to www.stmochtasfc.com Colin said, " I'm looking forward to starting in July, obviously iv'e been down to watch games the last few weeks, just checking out all the different age groups, I've been blown away by the Mini Leagues, and the turnout, it's been great, my own two kids are involved and really enjoying it, hopefully I can help out all the coaches, we have some superb coaches here already and it will be enjoyable passing on some of my own knowledge from 20 years of football."
