David Somers has scored 13 goals this season with 9 of them scored in the league. The side is packed with goalscorers and huge credit must also go to a resolute defence who have been exceptional. Last seasons supporters player of the year Craig Sheridan has been outstanding again this season. Stephen Deegan was terrific in the final two fixtures before the break and he will be looking to maintain his influence in midfield. The squad has an abundance of excellent players who work extremely hard and it's a tribute to the management team and players, that it's a very happy camp with a fantastic attitude.
Belgrove are seventh in the table with games in hand and they will be expected to be in the mix come the end of the season. Belgrove have lost two games against Cherry Orchard and St. Francis. Their last league fixture in December saw them pick up a point away from home against Leixlip United in a 2 - 2 draw.
Sunday will be the first encounter between the two sides and it's another massive game. Weather permitting the games will now come thick and fast and the Saints will be looking to carry the superb form into the business end of the season.
