LSL Senior Division 1

The squad looks very strong with plenty of strength and depth. It's going to be exciting with every game massive. Ahead of the league campaign Brian Mc Carthy said, " realistically we are ahead of schedule in where we want to be, it's going to be a very tough league, but I expect us to hold our own, the squad is very strong and it's important the team gels quickly, we are all looking forward to the start now."
Cherry Orchard and Glenville both got off to winning starts with the Orchard having a huge 8-0 win away to Arklow Town. Glenville defeated Verona in Coolmine 3-0. Sacred Hearts opening game saw them pick up a good point away to Broadford Rovers. The Saints will be very keen to get the season underway with points on the board. Our first home game of the season is on Sunday when the Saints welcome St. Francis to Porterstown Road. Kick Off is 11.00 am.
Our supporters have plenty of Friday night fixtures to look forward to, and a trip to the Arklow Town game will be a highlight. The shortest journey will be to Verona that sees the return of the local derby. Live updates from every game will be available on our Twitter account @stmochtasfc and match reports on www.stmochtasfc.com, Twitter and Facebook.
