The club's Annual General Meeting for 2014 was held on Wednesday night in the St Mochta's Parish Centre. The meeting was very well attended and was opened by Chairman, Mick Keating.
Mick thanked the Managers, players and committee members for all the hard work for the season 2013/14. Mick thanked all our Main sponsors and the club partners for the fantastic support during the season, The Clonsilla Inn, Shane Nulty Property Management, Ryans Garage -Blanchardstown, Cunninghams Funeral Directors, Air Force H & V. Mick reflected on the clubs success with our senior team promoted again and Moore Cup winners and he also paid tribute to the team playing Cork City FC in the Ford FAI Cup. Tom Slevin and Peter Brady's Under 10's won the league, Under 10's DDSL AND Under 12's both got promoted. Mick paid tribute to our Director of football Brendan Kennedy and all our coaches for the fantastic work they all have done. Tina Darcy read the finance report and everyone acknowledged the superb job Tina has done. Club Secretary, Stephen Jones thanked everyone for all their hard work and said the club is going from strength to strength. Senior Secretary, Vincent Nulty reflected on a fabulous season and congratulated Manager, Brian Mc Carthy for securing promotion and winning the Moore Cup. Schoolboy Secretary, Jim Darcy thanked all the managers and Director of football, Brendan Kennedy for another very good season.
Chairman, Mick Keating due work commitments could not remain as Chairman. Shane Nulty was elected as Chairman with Trevor Nulty elected as Vice Chairman. St. Mochta's FC would like to thank Mick for all his excellent work in his 3 year tenure. Mick has worked extremely hard and the club is now in a fantastic position thanks to his drive, expertise and commitment. Mick will always be a St. Mochta's FC supporter and we wish him and all his family the best in the future. Senior Secretary, Vincent Nulty and Club PRO Noel Crawford both paid tribute to our outgoing Chairman. Shane Nulty also paid tribute to Mick, and the club would like to congratulate Shane on the honour of leading the football club. We wish our new Chairman, Shane Nulty and Vice Chairman, Trevor Nulty the best of luck. The club is in very safe hands.
Jackie Brady was elected as Assistant to the Schoolboy Secretary, Jim Darcy.
John Lawlor was elected as Assistant to the Senior Secretary, Vincent Nulty.
All officers re-elected to the committee.
